David Bruce Spiker Jr. SSgt USMC Ret. WWBNWD
David Bruce Spiker Jr. was born and raised February 17, 1977 in Decatur, Illinois. David joined the Marine Corps and set foot on the yellow foot prints February 25, 1998 at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California. David has had multiple deployments and tours, most known tours include the battle of Al Najaf and the invasion of Fallujah Al Anbar province where he flew as a door gunner and areal observer. David rose through the ranks from private to Gunnery Sergeant in 11 years.
His personal awards include the Air Strike Flight Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Navy Unit Commendation 3rd Award, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation 2nd Award, Coast Guard Meritorious Unit Commendation, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal 4th Award, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with 3 Campaign Stars, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon 3rd Award, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon 2nd Award, Letter of Appreciation 2nd Award, Rifle Expert Badge 6th Award, Pistol Expert Badge 2nd Award, Combat Aircrew Insignia with 3 Stars and Naval Aircrew Insignia.
Despite being retired for combat injuries on October 31, 2012 Wounded Warrior battalion Detachment West, David has had his L5 disc replaced with a state of the art titanium disc, had both shoulders repaired and numerous tendons re-attached throughout both shoulders. David's de-spirit the corps is still very much alive and is proud to have served under the following units; First Battalion First Marines First Marine Division, 1st Marine Regiment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Special Operations Capable, Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron-166 Reinforced, 11th Marine Expeditionary Ace, 2nd Battalion 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division, Headquarters Command Squadron, Iwakuni Japan.
David currently resides in Ewa Beach with his Fiancé Jayme and is a proud father of three wonderful Marine Brats; Dylan 17, Danica 13 and Jordyn 1 Spiker. David has over 20 years of experience as a DJ and is proud to share it with fellow military members. His skills as a DJ are well known and sure to impress.
